Being a graduate student of Information Technology & Management seems to be an endless journey of discovery and knowledge, revealing the infinite possibilities that a business concept can give shape to. I believe, IT and management is the cornerstone of successful generation and almost all aspects of education revolve around these factors.

Spring 2008:
- Research on Indian Software Industry (Prof. Jai Asundi) : Acquired knowledge through research conducted on the outlook and export of Indian Software Industry
- System Analysis & Project Management: Developed a design for a real-estate web system which included problem statement, use case diagrams of business process and transform the logical model into a detailed design
Summer 2008: - Industrial Research Assistantship (Dr. Hans Adler): Identified the market of ATMs for a U.S. company's new start up business located in India
- SAP Supply Chain Software: Gained knowledge through study of supply chain management concepts and applications with software such as SAP ERP and Advanced Planner & Optimizer (APO)
- Operation Management: Study of the operational issues relevant to the numerous processes involved in offering services in a competitive global environment
Fall 2008 - Business Intelligence: Analyzed and developed data mining solution to business problems using Association Rules, Clustering, Decision Trees and Neural Networks
- Software Project Management: Gained understanding of the five process groups, nine knowledge areas of the PMI BOK and approaches to manage the software development process
Spring 2009 - Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist- Microsoft Office Project 2007, managing projects
- Developing and maintaining content management system (CMS)-based website
- Managed websites design and development through all the phases of life cycle
- Implemented Search Engine Optimization for the websites
- Maintained social network around websites ( Facebook, Twitter etc)
- Enterprise Resource Planning: Learning different SAP modules SAP business functional areas, their assigned usage and integration among the business functional areas
- ABAP Programming: Understanding the infrastructure available in ABAP work bench to develop own data elements, programs, function modules as part of application development
Fall 2009 - Dean’s Excellence Scholarship – School of Management
- Independent Study (Prof.Indranil Bardhan:http://www.utdallas.edu/~bardhan/) : Conducted a research study which explores the IT aspects of M&A. Completed a paper about IT Integration Requirement and Implementations in M&A
- Research Assistant at Center for Responsible Business and Sustainability: (Dr. Francisco Szekely): Designing and developing website for CRBS department
